Statoil advances in Pilgrim

Norwegian oil company Statoil reported that hired TechnipFMC to provide subsea umbilicals, risers and cables ducts of flow to the third platform will be installed in the field, in the Campos Basin.

According to the President of the company in Brazil, Anders Opedal, intensify oil and gas operations is part of the corporate strategies of Statoil. Phase 2 of Pilgrim will magnify the productive life of the field of Pilgrim and will add 273 million in recoverable reserves. The first oil is expected to reach in 2020.
